Is it possible to animate objects LEAVING the screen
rather than entering it? Thanks for any advice, C
 
Yes in PPT 2002-2003 with EXIT animations (No in previous versions).

It can be faked a little in PowerPoint 97 and 2000, and as Troy said, it is
easy in PowerPoint 2002 & 2003.
