Is it possible to have a grouping of 3d spheres (can be cirles) moving across
the graph showing the transition over time. The spheres would also need to
grow or shrink There would be 7 sets of data that would be in the spreadsheet
to be used as input for the paths and sizes of the spheres.

You should look at PowerPoint for this kind of thing, you can do it in Excel
but it requires VBA. You might post to the PowerPoint Newsgroup here a MS.
