I would like to build a presentation with images that are covered under
coloured squares, making the images invisible.

I want to remove squares only as long as the mouse button is pressed, after
releasing the mouse butteon., the picture should be covered again (like in a
memory game)

Thank you

Hi Jakob

I don't *think* that is possible but a similar effect could be made with
triggers (if I'm understanding what you want). Set the coloured rectangle to
disappear when you click it and to appear when you click the photo
underneath. This means two clicks but by using triggers you can show/hide the
picture as often as you want. Alternatively you could have the coloured
rectangle disappear on click and then re-appear automatically after a set
period of time.

If you would like to know more about either of these options post back with
which version of PowerPoint you are using.

Thank you Lucy,

that is what i have found out after playing around a bit, so I am glad you
have confirmed my trial and error results. But somehow I think that is a
feature missing.
Since i have a single foto under the boxes that covers the entire slide, I
had to use a second set of boxes, that were triggered to cover the opened
areas of the image after clicking again.

Disadvantage of this is that I cannot click on a box of choice, but it is
just a set sequence.

Again, thank you for your help

Jakob
