Hi,

I have 2 objects in a slide. They are the same size and side by side. They
are both oriented straight up and down and parallel to each other (they are
images of book jackets).

What I want to do with the free form tool is move one image and then the
next across the slide, but I'd like them to stop and be slightly tilted so
they are not straight up and down and parallel to each other, but rather
slightly tilted towards each other, like if you grab the green button and
tilt them.

Is this possible to do with one free form movement? Can the images be tilted
when they stop or must they end up in the orientation they were in when the
animation began?

Running Win XP and PPT 2002.

Thank you.

I cannot visualize exactly what you are looking to accomplish, but this
should put you on the right path to create the effect you need.
You are going to add multiple animations to objects, which you will need to
tweak to get the exact effect/ending result needed.
1. Animate with a MOTION PATH. Tweek to have it end in desired location
2. Add an emphasis of SPIN to occur WITH PREVIOUS. In the settings adjust
the degree of rotation and if should be clockwise or counter-clockwise.
3. Double-check that now with the rotation added the Motion Path ending
position is still were you need the object to end at.
4. You may also apply a GROW/SHRINK emphasis, again set to WITH PREVIOUS, to
further alter final object.
