I am trying to create a slide with a clipart graphic of a computer and I would like to overlay the monitor portion with a sequence of 5 photographs/images. I would like the first image to appear when the slide is first called up. I would like the remaining graphics to cycle through to the last graphic which should remain up on slide.

I have PowerPoint 2002.

I have tried setting the custom animation -- but cannot get it to work correctly.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

And what specifically does "cannot get it to work" mean? It's a little hard
to tell from this far away. <g>

I, also, am experiencing difficulty trying to accomplish
this task. My situation:

I set the first two images to open when the slide begins.
Then, I set them to Exit w/Fade Out.

While they are fading out, I would like the next two
images to fade in.

I can't figure out how to time this. Do I time the
entrance or the exit. Or is it Delay? I would like the
image groups to show for 3 secs before fading out.

My frustration is trying to find a how to on this. I've
spent two days and the Help index is no help at all.

Thanks for any help you can give,

Debbie

Set the entrance animations for the next two objects to begin "with
previous," and, of course, make sure they're below the appropriate exit
animations in the custom animation task pane.

You can add a delay to those entrances in the timing tab if you wish,
but if you want the fade in entrances to happen as the fade out exit
happens, you won't need a delay. You will, though, want to set the speed
for all the animations to the same (slow/medium/very fast, etc.)
setting.
