i'm trying to animate the objects in my presentation but can not even strat
as in the menu slide show the option custom animation is inactive. is there
any way how it make it active so that I can edit animation?
What I found strange is that I can run already created animations however
can not edit new ones.
Are there any add-inns missing or what???
my comp is running on W2000 and office 2000

Thx to anyone

This is indeed strange, Dusan. What if you log in to the computer as
administrator? Is the Custom Animation option available from the menu
then?

Yes, I'm loged as admin and the Custom Animation Option is not available
(dimmed)
very strange.
Cheers anyway
D.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello Dusan,

What "View" are you in?

The "Custom Animation" command will only be available if you are in a view
where you can select items to be animated:

Slide View
Normal View
Slide Master View

It's not available, for example, in:

Slide Sorter View
Notes View
or any other of the "master" views
