Animation Player for ActiveX

Is there still a download available somewhere for the
PowerPoint Animation Player for ActiveX? It used to be
http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/index.htm, but the page
is no longer available.

My PowerPoint presentation still plays smoothly on my own
computer
[http://www.pbdesigns.net/home/visual/graphicdesign/pppres/
pppres.htm, then click "Sales" and page down to view show]
but when I tested it from another computer, it wouldn't
work.

I want to place the PowerPoint Animation icon on the page,
so users can download the player. I've searched the
Microsoft website and can't find it.

Thanks, I've seen that link, as well, but it doesn't say
where to get the player. Believe me, I've tried to find
it. Also, when you click "Developer Information" on that
link, it leads to a page that states the knowledge base
article is not available. Any other suggestions, anyone?
What I ultimately want is a link to a site allowing users
to download the PowerPoint Animation Player for ActiveX. I
want them to be able to view the animated PowerPoint
presentation on my web page.

The word "Install" on the page is a link to AXPLAYER.EXE
Rightclick, Save Target As and store it someplace handy, then run it once the
download completes.

The link on the page is:

http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/ppoint/axplayer.exe

Also, have you tried the pages on a computer where you know the animation
player isn't present? It seems like every time I make HTML from PPT then view
it elsewhere, I'm automatically prompted to install the animation player by the
browser. You may not need to do anything at all.
