Is there a way to have several words or objects dissolve into a slide at the same time, rather than in sequential order. I have one slide on which I have ten different shapes (and attached titles) dissolve into the slide in sequential order. I would like, say, three of them to dissolve into the slide simultaneously. Is there a way to group them?? Thanks...Roger

Set them to animate "with previous" (PowerPoint 2002 and 2003).

PowerPoint 2000 does not have that feature - you'll need to upgrade to
PowerPoint 2002 or 2003. You can order a free 30 day trial CD at:

Microsoft Office System Trial - http://snipurl.com/officetrial

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to
do, but have you tried holding down the SHIFT key and
clicking on the three objects you want to group, then
right clicking and selecting Group (or clicking on Draw:
Group)? This should make the three objects appear as a
single object on the animation list, but I'm not sure
because I don't know what your objects are or how they
were created.
