I am an avid user of PowerPoint, but have gone straight from Office 97 to Office 2003, without really ever working on any versions in between. I am curious if some of the Custom Animations that I am thinking are new are REALLY new (i.e., created for use in Office 2003 for the first time) or if they have been in previous editions (Office 2000, Office XP, etc.).
I am creating these elaborate presentations with these animations for people who use Office 2000 or higher (mostly, though Office 2000). The Animation in question includes the following
1. Entrance/Emphasis/Exit/Motion Paths - In Office 2000, was Animation characterized like this
2. Emphasis - In Office 2000, were the animations listed under Emphasis available
3. Would animation be the same for the PC version of Office 2000 as it would for the Mac version
I am creating these for use in public schools which have Office 2000, but for Macs. Additionally, I have recorded sound. I have saved a few of these to a CD and have played them on an older Mac which only as Office 98. I have seen that some of the animation is lost, which sort of throws off the timing of the recorded narration
Any help would be greatly appreciated
