Animation in pps

Hi,
I need to create a "menu" for a restaurant that will have list of dishes and
drinks on like 10 pages, and animate it to list the pages.
The thing is that, they want to insert the whole thing into a pps
presentation and make the pages turn when you click on something. Tekst will
apear independently after a page turning animation.

What format would I use? Can I render it in avi, then turn it all into a
gif, and split it, or something like that???

Please help!
 
Well, PPT doesn't have a page turn transition. You'd have to use
something like Crystal Graphics' PowerPlugs for that. And you'd need a
pretty beefy system.

The CG plugs will render as AVIs, but they're not terribly clean -- at
least in my experience.

PPT itself can make pages turn when you click on something, and you can
also make text appear independently. So, I'm not quite sure why you'd
want to turn the whole thing into a GIF.

I meant just for the turning pages effect, so it would seam as if the page
is turning, not just skiping to next page. Maybe I should just apply 5 or 6
frames that would change quickly, cuz I don't need smooth transition.
