Animation - font color "emphasis" also changes font size

I'm applying the "change font color" emphasis to text, but it's also
changing the font size and I don't want that. I have not select the font
size option. Is this a bug? Does someone have a workaround, or is this how
it's supposed to work?
Thanks for your help.

When you say "changing" do you mean like from a size 8 to a size 14 font, or
do you mean just a tiny smidgen of a change (touching a line changing to
just off a line)?

If it is the latter, it may have something to do with the individual colored
dots that make up the screen. If it is the former, then you might have an
animation scheme or modified animation sequence applied.

Hi

I can't recreate this problem. Double check the custom animation pane (slide
show -> custom animation) for the extra animation and remove if you find it.
Also check there aren't any animations on the master (view -> master -> slide
master).

Using PPT 2003:
The problem is the font is becoming much larger. In the custom animation
screen ... there's nothing that contributes. All that I have is fading in
for all the paragraphs and the color changes that I inserted to fit the
timing. I was doing this to overcome the other problem I posted where I had
applied a shadow to the text (unfortunately, the dimming also replaced the
shadow color (not a pleasant result). I figured I had it beat by changing
the font colour, but I ended up with another problem. I'll open the file at
home and see if I experience the same problem. At work, they've
dummy-downed the office components ... and I've run into some strange
problems ... perhaps this is another one of strange consequences.

I considered inserting the text again (slightly offset and dark) to mimic
the shadow effect, but I don't want to risk someone making text changes and
having it go "bad".
Thanks.

Lucy,
You aren't going to believe this (or maybe you will). I went into the file
again this morning and sure 'nuff, the font colour changing is working and
it's not affecting the font "size". It's all ok. I had it running all day
and had a few big files open ... perhaps it just needed to be restarted.
I'm surprised that it's ok, but I'm not disappointed.
Thanks for the offer to help - much appreciated. I went in and changed the
content ... ready to send, but noticed that it was working. I'm a little
miffed, but am glad it's working as it should.

On the next day, I wasn't able to recreate it either, which is a good thing.
Sorry I've been long in responding ... have been outrageously busy, but
thought I'd post to say thanks for trying.
