is there any way for me to be able to click and have the table show up row by row? i have a table 5 across and 4 down... i would like to be able to click and show only the first row up and down then click again and fill the second row... and so on... until the entire table is filled in...

No specific way to animate the table, but you can duplicate the slide three
times (total of 4 slides). Put a rectangle the same color as the background
over the rows you want to hide. Mouse click can merely go to the next slide
which makes it appear as though one row is being shown.

Which version of PPT? This might be possible in PPT 2002 (aka PPT XP) and
2003. Can't remember for sure, though.

The easiest solution is to duplicate your slide 4X's. On slide 1 select rows
2-4 and delete them. On slide 2 select rows 3-4 and delete them. On slide 3
select row 4 and delete it. Leave slide 5 as is. In slide sorter view select
slides 2-4 and give them a slide transition of Wipe Right and set the speed
to medium.

In slide show view the table will visually build one row at a time.

Hello,

PowerPoint does not have the specific capability that you are looking for.
Currently PowerPoint tables can only be animated as a single object. In
order to animate indivual cells/rows/columns of a table you would have to
create them using the drawing tools instead of using the table tool.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint should
provide more granular control over the animation of table contents, don't
forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
