Animating a ribbon

Does anyone know how I can animate a ribbon moving across the slide?

It would almost have the movement of how a car in a roller coaster would
follow the tracks, but I can't seem to figure it out.

That is a very cool effect. I was looking more for..let's say you have a
long piece of ribbon and you want it to enter from the left, move across the
screen and exit right weaving in and out (maybe over and under text) as it
goes.
Not sure if it can be done in powerpoint. But if anyone knows thanks in
advance.
