i heard there are animated ppt templates. where can i
download them to spruce up our company training
presentations. thanks.
 
There are no fully-animated PowerPoint templates - maybe you are referring
to some templates that include an animated transition element like Pulse
that can be downloaded free from:

You can also include animated GIFs within PowerPoint templates - these give
an effect of animation and display on all PowerPoint versions since
PowerPoint 2000. Sonia Coleman has more info on animated GIFs in PowerPoint

You can also use an animated GIF as a background for a presentation, but
that's going to be very distracting.
