Animated gifs not animated in IE.

Not sure when this started but for some reason gif on web
pages are not animated.

If I open one locally the animation works fine.

Whats up with this?

Check if your ad-blocker or firewall is causing the problem. Turn them off
temporarily.

Check Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, and scroll down to the Multimedia
section (about halfway down). If the "Play animations in web pages" option
is not checked, activate the box and close Internet Options by clicking OK.
Load up a webpage with an animated gif and see if the change made any
difference.
