Hey guys,

I want to place animated gifs in my A97 mde file and ive found the
gif89.dll file to enable me to do this. Ive registered it and added a
reference to the file and have created my gif files. Everything works in
the MDB perfectly however when i try and compile it it complains that
the ActiveX control is not registered correctly but the gif89.dll file
did not come with any setup software so i dont understand how to
overcome this particular problem. The other odd thing is that i did
manage to get the MDB to compile with the activex control once,
everytime i try now it will not work for me.

What can i do to resolve this issue? is there another way i can add
animated gifs to my program?

Any help is appreciated!

Regards,
Richard

P.S. Ive posted this message to the ActiveX newsgroup, but also posting
here because ive never been able to get a reply from that newsgroup so i
appologise to those who may be on both.
