Animated GIF won't play

Hi

Using office 2007 - I've downloaded an animated gif and copied into ppt. It
won't play!! oh and I've tried viewing as a slideshow with no success.

Any help much appreciated...

Saving 2007 PowerPoint files can trash animated gifs.

You need to change the settings for compress pictures so they are not
compressed on save.
