Animate text after show and return

Hi,
I want to click on a picture on slide 1, which takes me to a custom show.
When it returns to slide 1, I need text to appear next to the picture I
originally clicked on.
The first slide could contain a number of pictures, which would go to
appropriate Custom shows then return, and each picture would need to be
clicked on in any order.

e.g.

Click on picture C on slide 1 > hyperlink to custom show C > return to slide
1 and display text for picture C
Click on picture A on slide 1 > hyperlink to custom show A > return to slide
1 and display text for picture A (and C)
Click on picture B on slide 1 > hyperlink to custom show B > return to slide
1 and display text for picture B (and C and A)

I'm using PowerPoint 2003. Thanks for any advice provided.

Hi Gary

You need to make a click on a picture hyperlink to the custom show AND
trigger an animation to make the text appear. If thius is not clear I have

Hi John,

perfectly. Although I haven't used triggers before, I can see the potential
of them now.
