add-on and disabling worked thanks

Can I add my thanks, also? I can recall your first posts in these groups,
and I just want to thank you for sticking with us and giving the kind of
detailed accurate help that you have here.

Thanks, and I agree--everyone who helps out here deserves thanks--I don't
want to make a list and leave anyone out.

Yeah i know what you mean i just said the first names
that came to mind but im not as active in the other
forums so i appreciate there's many more helpers than
that.

Just noticed someone on page 5 who had a nasty hijacker

That's ok, my disposition keeps me off the nice guy list most of the time!
I had a boss who said that about me once too! Anyway, you're on my nice guy
list--but I just said I wasn't gonna post the list 'cause I'd leave somebody
out.

Yeah at work I have a nasty disposition to some people on my a__hole list.
And certainly would not be on any bodies nice guy list. But if I was not
that way I would be pulled in 20 different directions at every ones a-- wipe
list. Being in Maintenance everyone likes to drop thier hard cases on our
laps and walk away wiping thier hands clean. Then shoot e-mails to every
body on why thier machine is not up and running production. I tell the
supervisor that if the operators where trained properly the machine would
not be broke in the first place and that is thier job to see to it. And also
I cannot pull the broken part out of my a__ because it is not sitting on a
shelve somewhere just waiting to jump back on the machine and fix it
magically.

Ed, this can be solved with strictly policies what a user can do, in my
company no ones
have a C: , no user can install programs, install ActiveX is blocked on
your own,
gpedit is blocked, USB and serial ports connections is blocked.

And this works !

Sorry Plun but I was talking about C.N.C. milling machines and lathes. Not
computers. Computers are easy. :-) Metal working machines are a whole
different ball of wax. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
