Hope Android became the king soon, then I can really focus my time on coding
not spending time on try and error in environment/platform every day and
then get mad and mad.

Thanks.

Yes, because Android has magic built in that will just eliminate the need to
write code. It actually just does things as you think about them.

Good luck! My experience with Linux-based alternative OSes is that the
support you'll get here for application development is vastly superior to
anything that Linux can or will offer. I think that the chance that a
single OS is somehow going to dominate the mobile market is very small. You
can bet on Android and, who knows, maybe it will have a majority, at some
point, but there's ZERO evidence right now that that's going to happen.

Jack,

You have to put some time into the platform - which is usually referred as
learning curve. Agreed it might be different on a different platform, but if
it excels in creating dlls, it might have issues somewhere else which you
either get used to or give up like you are indicating here. It's not like
these things that you are attempting to do are impossible on the platform.
With the right questions people will be able to help you out.

There is danger in the general attitude of finding reasons to give up.
