YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!
I'm sure I speak for everyone on these boards in saying... THANK GAWD YOU'RE
HERE!
<S>

Zack and I share a mutual passion for Windows Vista and I'm sure many other
persons who participate here everyday do too. I have been watching this OS
evolve since November 2002 when the first set of alpha builds leaked and I
have been rapture ever since. :)

Yes, there are so many issues with Vista right now and I can't answer every
question (but I'm trying to ;) I really want Vista to work for everyone,
unfortunately, that just not case, some upgrades will be success, some will
be a failure. But we should take this time and opportunity to make an impact
on the final outcome while we can, we still have some time before this
product is release to manufacturering.

So, the least we can do is, bug any errors you are currently experiencing,
whether its installing Vista, dual booting or just general use of the
operating system. For third party applications, I just want to say, this is
a joint effort among the third party Developer, Microsoft and you. Some
developers will have update or release patches for their applications. So,
its best you contact them about errors you encounter on Vista and file a
report to Microsoft in addition.

Lastly, if you are having trouble getting Vista right now, its no use, just
order the DVD and remember to check out our guide pages:

There may be many issues (yeah my sil 680 ata133/raid card and photosmart
7150 printer don't work) but overall it's far better than the "XP" beta
experience of a beta2 timeline and I wont even go into NT5 aka Win200.

Wow, thanks so much!! Yeh, I know exactly what Andre means - this OS has
been such a buzz for me, I'd go to any length to see the first alpha builds,
and I remember my first build - 4051.... wow that was cool :o)

But thanks for the compliments, and although I won't write anything as long
as Andre has done :oP I'll continue to participate in these NG's as much as
I can with my job and everything - and hope everyone enjoys the OS :o)

Andre and Zack must have the patience of saints ;) You two must surely be
suffering from posting fatigue by now, having to answer the same questions
over and over and over again :o)

BTW, my install of Vista went as easy as.....45 minutes from booting with
the DVD to an Aero glass-enabled desktop :) Using 32 bit for now...might
chance 64 bit later in the week.

That'd be your job at Microsoft, would it?
