As performed by The Cosmic Sausages :)

There's a movie file to download later in this post if you're interested.

Yesterday I went to a mini music festival, the 'Hope' festival in Bodiam, Kent. It runs Friday to Sunday and was named 'Hope' as it originated near a village called Hope in Wales some years ago.

This is the third time I've been, it's very low key, hardly ever get a big name playing, but very informal, casual and lottsa fun. And we be allowed to make wood fires too, which is unusual in UK.

Here's just a few pix and then a movie file of one of our local bands, the Cosmic Sausages, doing their very own version of Anarchy In The UK.

It's 161Mb and in mp4 format. Within Windows it will play in Quicktime, Real Player, Nero Showtime; Windows Alternate Media Player and Real Time Alternate Player.

A few pix, journey down there:

Ya know what, I don't even know the name of the pub :o

I've been there for the last three years mostly because they serve fine real ales and serve really good food. My travelling companions both had the steak and ale pie but on Saturday I wasn't that hungry so I just had a ploughmans with Brie.

It's just outside Bodiam, which is in either Kent or Sussex, I ain't entirely sure, it's literally two minutes drive from the town centre, but it's not a very big town, more like a village.

I will do my best to find out for you Mr Feckit.

Triplex:

Glad you liked the movie footage, they're an entertaining band, I seen 'em at Glastonbury Festival and locally as well. Nothing special, will probably not ever be big, but good fun.

Anybody else viewed the video?

Hope Festival 2008

It good to read people are getting to know the hope festival at Bodium, its realy chilled out weekend. I had a stage on the roof of my van a few years ago, and have been invited back this year 2008, The Stage is open mic and pre booked acts, so if you play and fancy a go find the "BLUE ASTEROID CAFE" and come and book a spot, cafe sells tea and cakes for the casual minders, also DVD are available of previous festivals, Good to see some pictures, thanks

Thanks for dropping by :)

I'm sure I've seen you there, I think maybe have even spoken to you. I've only been going the last four years but friends of mine have been attending a lot longer than me.

The organiser was at a party I went to on Saturday, looks good to go this year but I'm not sure if I'll be going or not.

If I do - I'll say hello :thumb:

There's some more pix of Hope Here

Yep, I remember your pix of the castle.

I intend to visit myself this Spring, I never been to the Castle.

I'm afraid not, it be 1.75 years old now, that thread.

I could bung it up again if you want.
