analogue to DVD probs

Any help apprieciated
I`m trying to get analogue input (old video camera) on to my laptop using Belkin USB2 DVD Creator
My problem is that I`m only getting output as black and white
Plzzzzzzzzzz anyone help?

Usually seen when you have a PAL to NTSC problem or vice versa. If you are
in Europe or Australasia, are both camera and analog hardware capture set
correctly to PAL?

What exactly do you do to sort this out, I have the same problem. I have a USB capture device for my analogue cam. I have loaded the PAL drivers but still get only B&W. I have set Moviemaker to PAL. Where else should I change the settings
