My system once i log onto XP shows 100% computer usage in the taskmanager1 that was created with help from my other thread. I've scanned my computer multiple times, used multiple worm and virus removal tools in and out of safe mode with and without system restore enabled and nothing seems to help. I do not have a firewall. I have all the MS updates as i said before i created new regedit taskmanager and system config apps but my primary ones wont work. they appear for a second then blink off unless im in safe mode then they work fine and resources are normal. any suggestions? i've tried all of this

First thing!! Get a firewall turned on, pronto.
Open Help and type: firewall and click the arrow.
It's called ICF Internet Connection Firewall
