An unbounded field can bring the record to another

I was doing a small program in Access 2007, I have a form linked with a
normal table. I put an unbounded text field on the this form. But, a very
annoying thing happens if I update this unbouded field: the record will jump
to another record after the updating.
Why does this happen?
I will appreciate it if someone could help out.

i would guess that it is the last control on the form and after it is updated
it rolls around to the next record in the table. If you go into design mode
for the form and select the Form Property sheet, Under the "Other Tab" you
have the option to "Cycle" through the records. If you change this to Current
Record then when you update the text box the focus should move back to the
first control without changing the record.
