An out of world accident waiting to happen

Very true! It will be interesting to see what they come up with to fix it... they mentioned some kind of umbrella contraction - can you imagine how big that would have to be?!
 
Funny I was reading an article in El Reg the other day and apparently the Italian space agency is build building or proposing a space vehicle to go up and clear some of the space rubbish in orbit. Must have a mighty big dustpan though.:lol:
