An optional field deos not show up though selected

I'm trying to use the event management database built in
to Access 2003. On the attendees table, there is an option
to include email name. Though I have selected that option
when building the database, it does not show up in the
attendee form nor on the datasheet view. What do I have to
do to make this optional field work?

Open the table in design view and determine if it is indeed included. If
not, enter it manually, and add it to the RecordSource of the Form.
Templates are not part of the product, but additional material, often
contributed -- they don't get the design reviews and quality assurance that
is applied to Access itself.
