I have set up an Intranet on a Windows 2000 server running IIS 5.0. I
installed the Microsoft Office Server Extensions (OSE). Using the
Microsoft 60 Minute Intranet Kit I created a complete Intranet. The
issue I can't solve, after days of trying, is I get a general error
message "An error occurred. Please contact your Web administrator."
on the main default page only. This only occurs when using Internet
Explorer and only for the home page, all other pages work fine. I
downloaded and installed Netscape and this issue doesn't occur. I
looked and tried different security settings with no results. I have
also installed Windows and Office updates so that OSE and everything
else is completely up to date. Has anyone had this issue and was able
to resolve it?
