I am running Windows XP Home Edition.
128MB ram memory.
10GB hard drive.
AMD Duron 850Mhz processor.
Virus protection: Computer Associates Anti-virus and Firewall.

I'm a senior citizen who has used a computer 7 years. I have no formal
technical training. I consider myself a novice. Please give explicit,
step-by-step instructions.

PROBLEM: I keep getting the following error message:
"An error occurred in the script on page
LINE: 2
CHAR: 7
ERROR: Invalid character.
CODE: 0
UFIL: file://C:\Documents and Settings\Ralph\Local
Settings\ApplicationData\IM\RunTime\Message{D4B68B6E-DFAO-4552-B3C4-E2357B19
5BAC}\Show\htmlStr_Prev.htm

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
Y N"
Please help. I am totally confused. Also, should I click on Yes or No
regarding do I want to continue running scripts on this page?

Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Internet Options, go to the
Advanced tab, place a check next to "Disable script debugging" and make sure
there is no check next to "Display a notification about every script error,"
click apply and ok.

That should get rid of the message.
