"An error occurred in the folder shortcusts file (l.fav)."

When I open Outlook 2003, running under Windows XP, I always receive the
error message: "An error occurred in the folder shortcusts file (l.fav).
Outlook will recreate the default folder shortcuts."

When I click OK, the program works OK, but how can I fix whatever it is that
Outlook does not like? I tried deleting and reinstalling all of Office 2003
to no avail?

Hi,
try to rename the xy.fav file into yx.old.
 
I am using windows xp pro sp2 with office 2003.getting exactly the same
error message.

I tried to do the recovery but did not work.

Can you help me by pointing out where exacty the .fav files are located
and how to solve this problem.
