I am trying to install Windows Vista on a 2.2Ghz Celeron machine, with 512MB
ram, and keep getting an error message after 27% of Expanding Files saying
"An Error Occured While Preparing Windows Setup to Boot Into The Next Stage
Of Setup". I have tried using both a burned DVD, and mounting the image using
Daemon Tools, both come back with that error. I have also tried
re-downloading the ISO, and still no luck. I am using an official ISO from
the Customer Preview Program website, and do have a valid key. I am also
trying to install on a normal 80GB IDE harddrive, so there are no driver
issues. I have ran the Update Advisor, and it has assured me my computer can
run Vista. If anyone knows what I can do to make the install complete fully,
please let me know.
