Anyone know of a program to amplify sound? My soundcard and speakers are not very
compatible and when watching movies and some quiet dialog comes on I cant hear it,
even at full volume.

<I use this one for boosting audio by 16 dB for DVD to SVCD/VCD
projects. " use "don't find peaks; amplify by dB" button and boost as
you like. <pcm wave only, though >
