I would appear to be having some problems regarding tracking of affiliate
links and I've noticed that the amp; has been added by FrontPage after some
of the &'s on the old code but not on the new. See below:

Old

New

Could this make a difference and why does it add the amp; in the first place
and why did it miss it off the new code when it was produced on the same
computer?

Paste into Notepad first, then in your page in HTML / Code View or insert all your links, then do a
search and replace for & with &

It depends on the remote server that has to process the URL, whether is has been coded to properly
handle & instead of &. The browser handles either with no problem.
