ammonia based glass cleaners

where can i find them in the uk as they dont seem to have any just alcohol
based glass cleaners or anionic/nonionic cleaners dont ask me for the last
one, im baffled about it myself
 
They don't have Windex there?

What you need to get is 'Isopropyl alcohol', otherwise known as
'Isopropranol' or 'Rubbing Alcohol'..

I forgot to say that this stuff is available at pharmacies/chemists/Boots..

Which would then be an ALCOHOL based item. The original poster was looking
for an AMMONIA based item!!
 
.... because the poster wasn't aware of an alcohol based cleaner.
Isopropranol is not directly marketed in the UK as a cleaner, I don't think,
even though it is actually an excellent cleaner, and the basis for screen
cleaners marketed in North America..
