AMD64 3200+ or P4Prescott

I dont know which one to take:AMD 64(not FX) 3200+ 1Mb cache.....or P4
3.2Ghz Prescott 1Mb cache 800Mhz BUS....
I dont want to overclock them.Generaly I want to se this processor for
gameing.............help!!!!!!!!!!

I personally would take the 64, they seem to be a bit better in the
benchmarks.

Yes it is faster, than the P4 in just about every aspect a CPU can be tested
in.

It has a heat spreader. There should be lesser chance of CPU damage due
to significantly lower energy usage, heat.

That's always one of the arguments you hear about why to use Intel.

Actually, I use both...mainly Intel recently.
