I've already Googled this but came up with no suitable results - how does
the 3000 Venice core AMD64 compare with other 3000 models? Are there any
benchmarks available on the web that will show the difference?

I have two systems with the Venice core chips, a 3000 and a 3200. They
don’t really outperform the other cores unless you are keen on
overclocking them.
What slipped passed me is that with the Venice 3200’s, AMD lowered the
clock speed to 2G and halved the L2 cache compared to the earlier
cores. When it comes to video editing this has showed up and I
slightly overclock them to keep up with early 3200’s?
No doubt for those prepared to overclock them considerably then they
may come into their own.
I really think that there has been too much noise made over them
convincing us that they are like the first man on the moon.
I am an AMD man however if you are video editing the Intel still wins
by quiet a margin.Nothing much has changed , the AMD is still more for
games machines.
