Hello,
This is my first time building a pc.
I have a MSI KT4A MB
AMD XP2400 but it shows as XP1800. Is there a jumper on the MB I need
to adjust, or is it in the BIOS? pleas eadvice. Thank you.

I imagine you have your FSB (front side bus) speed set to 100 instead of
133. The setting for it is in the BIOS. You can first try "Load Optimized
Settings" and it may set it correctly for you. If not, you can set it
manually. The reason it reads as an 1800 is because 100(fsb) X 15
(multiplier)= 1500MHz, which is an 1800+. But, 133 X 15= (almost) 2000,
which is the clock speed of the 2400+
