AMD vs. Intel

I have a database setup and in use. Everything seems to
work fine on a Intel Pentium machine, but when a user has
a AMD machine they seem to get errors in a couple of
errors in different places throughout the database. Is
there a known issue that causes this? Is there any way to
correct this with maybe a patch? I looked everywhere and
have found nothing on this issue. Any help with this
matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How many different machines are you testing this on? If
you only have 1 Intel and 1 AMD machine, then the issue
may be coincidental. I would look at the setup of Access
on the AMD box and compare it to the Intel box.

Are the systems relatively new? What OS are you running?
What version of Access? Is it a shared database? Is the
database on the network, and are there any security issues
with the dB (multiple layers need to be checked, not just
within the dB, but also network related)? etc...

I've been using AMD CPUs since A2.0 without any problems. So I can't
see this being a problem.

At my current workplace, we have various models using different versions of
both Intel and AMD CPUs and we don't have any CPU specific problems.
