AMD Phenon X4 9600 wanted.

As header states, I'm looking for an AMD Phenom X4 9600 processor

Would that be the one with the TLB bug ?

I can't imagine finding any of those new at retail.

The replacement would have been something like the 9650 (same speed, but
different stepping B3 with bug fixed).

You'd think Ebay would have a few, if people were getting rid of their
bugged ones. If you have a bugged one, a BIOS fix disables the TLB somehow.
Don't know the details. Something about a 10% performance hit or so.
The 9650 wouldn't need that fix any more.

If you were testing the TLB bug, then I suppose it's the perfect processor...
