To wrap things up, let’s be frank here and note that we understand AMD isn’t offering us anything “new” when it comes to its architecture. Of course, that is not why we are testing the AMD FX 8320E. We knew coming into reviewing the FX 8320E that it wasn’t going to be AMD’s miracle baby, now will it save AMD’s already aging FX series line up? Probably not.
However, these new chips are good evidence that AMD is listening to its consumers. All to often we hear AMD’s users complain about AMD for its high power TDP consuming processors. AMD obviously took note of this and is offering alternative solutions for now.
Does this come with a price? Based on our testing… yea it did.
