Hi,
I have the a techsolo 500W PSU (see detais on output voltage here:
http://www.overclockmania.net/prodotti/s/ts_500w.jpg). Is this enough to
run a system with this CPU ? I tried it with an asus k8v se deluxe and
it worked for 10 minutes, then the system shut down by itself and never
started again. It starts only if I unplug the 12V/4pin cord from the
motherboard but obviously the cpu hasn't enought power...

thanks

12V line is what powers the CPU, that PSU has 17A on the 12v rail which
should be more then enough.

fwiw I've built a few A64's 3000+ to 3400+ with ATI 9800 Pros, 2-HDD,
2-DVD, sound card, etc, and they all only have a max of 18A on the 12V
rail, been running for months without a glitch.

thanks for the infos. do ou have any idea of the problem of my system ?
If I plug in the 12v rail nothing happens (the fans doesn't start too,
even if the power led on the motherboard is on...)

thanks
