AMD 3500+ cpu serial number

I'm about to sell a 3500+ cpu on ebay and want to take the serial number
before I sell it.

It is the retail package including heatsink and fan. There is a transparent
piece of plastic on the front of the box with what looks like a cpu behind
that. Is that the actual cpu or at least the serial number of the actual cpu
that's in the box or is it just a piece of generic packaging with the same
numbers on each package?

There are two other numbers on the box with bar codes on them, the one on
the side seems to be the model number. Does anyone know what the number on
the top is?
