Now that my A7N8X motherboard is working I have a problem with the Athlon
2800+ processor. The system shows the processor with a clock speed of 1250
GHz. The actual processor speed should be around 2.08GHz. Is this caused
by a jumper or Bios setting? I've looked through the manual and don't see
anything that would explain this. In the Bios, the CPU external frequency
is 100. System Performance in the Bios is set to "Optimal." Are either of
these settings involved?

Thanks,

Robert

'CPU external frequency' should be set to 166MHz... This will give the
correct clock speed.

Try 166MHz for FSB clock instead of 100MHz.
