15 Remove Common Tasks from the Desktop

its a registry file download it and run it then restart.

We just ran Fix-It software on an XP Home system, after reboot, there has
been a bar on the left side of the desktop that is identical to the one in
folders that lists the folder tasks, other places, and details. Does anyone
know what I did and how i can remove this monstrosity from my desktop?

They should rename it to "Broke it"
