Am I the only one experiencing this?

Whenever a scan starts I get a dialog box asking for me
to insert my backup dell installed programs disk. Nothing
happens until I either do that or cancel the operation.
If this can't be changed so I can run the scan without
being there to do this it's a wasted of time, I might as
well do it manually on the web. Anyone know if there is a
fix?
