I really like those J-Bots. I'm not much of a javascript programmer
and they make me look good. Are they non-functioning in 03 or is it
something I'm doing that has disabled them?

Not sure if you have the same situation or not. I by mistake chose to
delete all other FP installs which I didn't want to do. I was talking and
not paying attention. Well anyway I had to reinstall J-Bots so the bots
would install in the Office11/BOTS directory. Right now yours probably
reside in Office10 or whatever was your previous version of FrontPage. Once
I unistalled and reinstalled all was fine again.

Hi Naomi,

The question is unclear as to what the specific problem is but...

When MS released the technical refresh (TR) of Beta 2 they broke a number of
things in the object model of FrontPage 2003. We have since found work
arounds and made new versions of our products that were affected. Current
owners of our products can download the newer version from our web site at
http://www.websunlimited.com/downloadservice, no charge.

This is documented in our Knowledge Base and in our Presales questions.

I would recommend you do the following, uninstall, download the new version,
reinstall with the new version.

Mike:

Quite impressive. I was surprised when I searched for my order info and
found out that 3 of my products J-Bots 2002 along with Calendar Wiz and Meta
Tag Maker were originally purchased 8/20/01. I'd call 2 years, 2 months and
counting very good product support; Great Job and thanks!

Glad to do it Bill!

The last two versions of FrontPage (2002 and 2000) required us to have our
customers upgrade because the changes and yes bugs in FrontPage required a
lot of work to rewrite our code to be compatible. Of course the upgrades
also increased the overall value of owning J-Bots with additional components
and improvements to existing components.

This J-Bots 2002, was compatible up until they broke the FP3 object model in
the Beta2 TR. It was also carried forward in the RTM, deadlines I guess. The
fixes were minor so the free version change. But watch out we will be
releasing some very impressive applications in the near future.

Thanks again for the accolade.
