Am I imagining SpyBot and AdAware role reversals

Up until the time I installed the latest versions of Spybot (1.4) and
AdAware (1.06) I always felt the latter did a more thorough job. I
could run AdAware first and it would find and fix problems and the run
SpyBot and it would find no problems. If I ran Spybot first it would
find problems and then run AdAware it would sill find some problems
SpyBot didn't.

Now, with the new versions of both, Spybot finds problems AdAware missed
and AdAware finds no problems after running Spybot.

Curious, huh?

Has anyone else noticed this or am I just imagining?

Thank you.

It always depends what you had..
Personally - neither found anything on my systems.. But I always ran both
and found things no matter the order on others systems..

I noticed the opposite, and just recently updated both. Spybot found 1
item and Adaware 2, usually don't find anything now though, prior to this
has been 4-5 mths since I last saw anything.

Have you tried the programme Microsoft antispyware? it’s been good to
me and takes care of itself.
