Have set Archive to:

All folders, once every day, delete anything over 5 years old. File
to my HD Archive folder, which in turn gets backed up to external HD.

But I only see ONE .pst file!

Does this include all calendar, task, contacts, settings, sigs, etc.
The entire outlook data???

I've put in too much work to lose it!

Thanks!

It won't include the signature files, Contacts or
settings.. it will have everything else... So if u have
custom views and forms that won't get backed up either --
most of that is in the registry.. The Contats will ahve
to be manually exported from the main pst file or if u
make a copy of the original pst file that u are using and
place it in the backup folder.. then have Outlook open
that pst file instead and close down the other in the
location that Outlook is using it in then u wouldn't have
to archive the data.. The only thing that u would have to
watch is the size of the pst file 2gb is the limit -- I
would recommend staying at 1gb and making other pst files
to access with Outlook..

K... Well is there a 'simple' way to make sure Outlook is always
completed backed up???

Thanks!

All Outlook items are contained in the .pst file - including Contacts.
There is no need for a separate export of contacts. Also, if the .pst file
is copied and opened using File->Open->Personal Folders File, all custom
forms ARE retained.

See this page for an option if you are using Outlook 2000 or later - you did
not say.
