Am I an administrator?

A piece of software that I am looking at, says that I must be logged on the
the system Administrator. How do I know if I am and if I'm not, how do I
change this? I bought the PC 2nd hand with Win2000 already installed. It's
not on a network and I'm the only one using it.

Yes, I found my name in the list and added it to the Administrators Group so
now there is one icon labelled Administrator and one with my name next to
it. I've always fancied being an Administrator
