Always get IE to open FullScreen?

I never can remember - how do I set IE to open full screen every time. It
really drives me crazy when it opens the smaller "windowed" screen.

Run your cursor around the small windowed screen and when you get a
double headed arrow left click and drag the page to full size. Do that
on all four sides of the window until the screen is full. Then close
the window by clicking X (top right corner) whilst at the same time
pressing Ctrl.

Right click on the IE icon in the Task Bar and select Properties\Shortcut
and on the Run Bar use the arrow and select Maximized

that opens in a new window? I don't mean a large windowed box but a
MAXIMIZED box?

Well I believe there is a way if you create an IE shortcut and then
under properties tell it to open up maximized. Then tell File Types
under Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options to open up the
shortcut instead of IE.

But if you want to see something really cool, just hit F11 when IE
opens. Then F11 again to pop it back. This is called full screen mode.
And I believe once you have one opened in full screen, all links will
open up in full screen mode. <grin>

Emry was helpful and did suggest the first part - you did EDIT OUT the rest
of the message which included the programs that did resize the window.

I don't understand people like you. Your first response looked like you
were trying to assist. I said thank you but it wasn't working for me. Then
all of your remaining responses must be coming from a spoofer because they
are neither useful or helpful.


Funny thing is that Emrys Davies told you to do the same thing just

Really boe? You didn't state that part of my suggestion didn't work,
but rather blanketed everything I said didn't work! So how am I
supposed to know what you had meant? Do you expect me to suddenly
become a mind reader?

And I don't believe you actually tried changing "URL:HyperText
Transfer Protocol" either. Which deals with how Internet Explorer
behaves. And you should have asked for more technical information if
you didn't know enough of what you were doing.

And whether or not you had tried the F11 trick or not. But if you do
this and left IE in full screen mode, all other IE windows opens up
the same way. That's as maximized as much as you can get.

Thus if you ignore what people tell you and give vague responses
back. You make it impossible for people to help you. Since I can't
trust you to follow directions, I afraid to tell you how to open up
all IE windows in maximum window. As I feel you will only follow it
half ass and screw something up. Then blame me for your new problem.

your problem 100% completely and you thus call me a moron. Why you
are just a genius not!

As proof of what I am talking about and I really shouldn't help
someone as ungrateful as you are. But if you followed Emry's
directions, but rather changed things a bit. Like close all IE
windows except one. Then click on the maximize button and then hold
down the CTRL key and then click on the close button. Now *all* IE
windows will start *all* maximized!

OK - I appreciate the fact you tried to help people but your solution does
not solve clicking on links.

As far as understanding you - try re-reading your own babble. Only 50% of
the statements were coherent. Try diagraming your sentences before you post
